Voices Of Our Time
|
March 29 through
April 30, 2008
H. Kazan Fine Arts presents “Voices of Our Time,” an exhibition consisting of works by eight California artists. The show is comprised of paintings by Alina, Ruben Amiriam, Tigran Harutunyan and Zareh; mixed media by Kaloust Guedel and J. Natasha Kostan; pyrotechnics by Sev and photographs by Harout Kazan. This exhibition affirms the voices of our time. The participating artists have developed individual visual languages –systems of signs and symbols that communicate thoughts and feelings– which emerge from the unconscious. As inventors of a new language, the artists test the impact of their work by presenting their images to a discerning audience creating a dialog between the creator, the creation and the viewer. This approach refines their personal vision. The “Voices of Our Time” challenges the audience with its diverse and thought provoking work. The gallery supports those who strive to transform their original ideas, complex views and daydreams into visual reality. H. Kazan Fine Arts believes that supporting fine arts is a way to actively participate in the creative process.
