Transitions

October 13 through November 17, 2007

H. Kazan Fine Arts Gallery is pleased to present "Transitions," an exhibition by eight artists from the greater Los Angeles area. The gallery is a delightful environment within which the viewer takes a pause from daily responsibilities to enjoy viewing works of art that evoke feelings and refresh the mind.

The upcoming October show is both conceptually and technically innovative, leading the viewer into unfamiliar visual experiences. The participating artists are as diverse in their cultural backgrounds, attitudes and aesthetic sensibilities. Their approach to making art is embedded in their varied cultural outlooks. Seamlessly, they integrate their experiences with concepts giving a new meaning to their work. It is these “Transitions” from the mundane into the innovative realm that transform their ideas and experiences into new expressions. The show encompasses several different media: drawings by Zareh; paintings by Alina, Ruben Amirian and Narine Isajanyan; mixed media by J. Natasha Kostan, Launa D. Romoff, Mathilde Lombard; and bronze sculptures by Harout Kazan.

Opening reception is Saturday, October 13th, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Gallery hours are Tuesday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
